Job Description
We are looking for a skilled Special Procedure Tech to join Corewell Health, a leading healthcare organization. As a Special Procedure Tech, you will provide direct care to patients undergoing Heart and/or Vascular procedures, assisting physicians and ensuring exceptional patient-centered care.
Responsibilities
- Monitor patients during invasive procedures and provide technical support.
- Perform IV starts, prep patients, and document procedures.
- Maintain radiation safety standards and ensure equipment quality.
- Communicate effectively with team members, physicians, and patients.
Requirements
- Completion of accredited radiography or Cardiovascular Technologist program.
- Experience in EP, Cath Lab, or IR procedures.
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, RT-CV or VI, RCES/RCIS.
- Strong communication, customer service, and computer skills.
