Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Special Procedure Tech to join our team at Corewell Health. In this role, you will provide direct care pre, intra, and post for patients undergoing Heart and/or Vascular procedures. You will play a crucial role in assisting physicians and delivering quality patient-centered care throughout the procedure process.
Responsibilities
- Monitor patients undergoing routine invasive, interventional procedures.
- Provide technical support and quality patient-centered care during procedures.
- Perform and record hemodynamic/physiologic wave forms and calculations.
- Ensure compliance with radiation safety standards.
Requirements
- Completion of an accredited radiography program for Interventional Radiology; graduate of Cardiovascular Technologist program, or equivalent for Cath Lab/EP Lab.
- 1 year of experience in EP, Cath Lab, or IR required.
- Certifications including BLS, ACLS, and specific RT certifications.
- Strong communication, customer service, and computer skills.
