Job Description
We are seeking a Special Procedure Tech to join Corewell Health. In this role, you will provide direct care for patients undergoing Heart and/or Vascular procedures, assisting physicians and ensuring quality patient/family centered care. You will be responsible for IV starts, patient preparation, hemodynamics monitoring, equipment operation, procedure documentation, vascular access site management, and patient/family education.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide quality care and support to patients undergoing invasive procedures.
- Perform intra-procedural technical tasks efficiently.
- Communicate effectively with medical staff, patients, and families.
- Maintain and operate technical equipment.
- Adhere to radiation safety standards.
Qualifications
- Educational background in Radiography or Cardiovascular Technology.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in EP, Cath Lab, or IR.
- Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and specialty-specific credentials.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
