Special Procedure Tech

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Special Procedure Tech to join our team at Corewell Health. In this role, you will provide direct care and support to patients undergoing Heart and/or Vascular procedures, working closely with physicians to ensure quality patient care throughout pre, intra, and post procedures. Additionally, you will be responsible for IV starts, patient preparation, equipment operation, procedure documentation, and patient/family education.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and support to patients during invasive, interventional procedures.
• Perform IV starts, monitor hemodynamics, and operate specialized equipment.
• Document procedures accurately and provide patient/family education.
• Maintain radiation safety standards and ensure quality assurance checks on technical equipment.

Requirements

• Completion of an accredited program in Radiography, Cardiovascular Technology, or related field.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in EP, Cath Lab, or IR procedures.
• Basic computer skills, strong communication, and exceptional customer service skills.
• Valid BLS certification and additional certifications based on specialization.
