Job Description
We are looking for a Special Procedure Tech to join Corewell Health's team, providing direct care to patients undergoing Heart and/or Vascular procedures. As a Special Procedure Tech, you will assist physicians, monitor patients during procedures, operate equipment, and ensure quality patient care. This role requires following radiation safety standards, performing IV starts, and educating patients and families.
Responsibilities
- Monitor patients during invasive procedures and provide technical support.
- Operate equipment and document procedures accurately.
- Ensure quality patient care and family education.
- Adhere to radiation safety standards and perform IV starts.
Requirements
- Completion of accredited radiography program for Interventional Radiology.
- Graduate of Cardiovascular Technologist program or equivalent for Cath Lab/EP Lab.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in EP, Cath Lab, or IR.
- BLS and ACLS certifications required.
