Job Description
Corewell Health is seeking a Special Procedure Tech to join our team. As a Special Procedure Tech, you will provide direct care and support for patients undergoing Heart and/or Vascular procedures. Your responsibilities will include assisting physicians, performing IV starts, monitoring hemodynamics, operating equipment, documenting procedures, and educating patients and their families.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct care pre, intra, and post procedures.
- Perform IV starts and monitor hemodynamics.
- Operate equipment and document procedures.
- Deliver quality patient/family centered care.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited radiography program or a cardiovascular technologist program.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in EP, Cath Lab, or IR.
- Basic computer skills and outstanding communication skills.
- BLS and ACLS certifications.
