SPECIAL PROCEDURE TECH
Full-time position at Corewell Health with a SIGN ON BONUS of $7000
General Summary:
The Special Procedure Tech provides direct care pre, intra, and post for patients undergoing Heart and/or Vascular procedures to assist physicians and delivers quality patient/family centered care. Responsibilities include IV starts, patient prep, hemodynamic monitoring, equipment operation, procedure documentation, vascular access site management, and patient/family education.
Essential Duties:
- Monitor patients during procedures
- Provide intra-procedural technical support
- Perform and record hemodynamic/physiologic waveforms
- Communicate effectively with team, physicians, and patients
- Ensure radiation safety standards and quality assurance checks
Standard Qualifications
- Completion of accredited radiography program for IR or Cardiovascular Technologist program for Cath Lab/EP Lab
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in EP, Cath Lab, or IR
- Relevant certifications such as BLS, ACLS, and RT status
- Strong computer, math, communication, and customer service skills
