Job Description
Corewell Health is looking for a dedicated Special Procedure Tech to provide direct care to patients undergoing Heart and/or Vascular procedures. As a Special Procedure Tech, you will play a crucial role in assisting physicians, monitoring patients, and delivering quality patient-centered care.
Responsibilities
- Monitor patients during invasive procedures and provide technical support.
- Perform IV starts, document procedures, and educate patients and families.
- Maintain radiation safety standards and quality assurance checks on equipment.
- Participate in sterile techniques and various specialized procedures based on site requirements.
Requirements
- Completion of an accredited radiography program or equivalent cardiovascular technologist training.
- Minimum of 1 year experience in EP, Cath Lab, or IR.
- BLS and ACLS certifications as required by the site.
- Strong communication, customer service, and computer skills.
