Job Description
We are looking for a Special Procedure Tech to join our team at Corewell Health. In this role, you will provide direct care pre, intra, and post for patients undergoing Heart and/or Vascular procedures, assisting physicians and delivering quality patient/family centered care. Your responsibilities will include monitoring patients during procedures, performing IV starts, documenting procedures, and ensuring radiation safety compliance. The position may also require you to participate in specialized procedures such as 3D imaging, vascular, and cerebral cases.
Standard Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited program in Radiography, Cardiovascular Technology, or related field.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in EP, Cath Lab, or IR.
- Active certifications such as BLS, ACLS, RT-CV, RT, RCES, RCIS, etc.
- Strong communication, customer service, and computer skills.
