Join our team at Lantern Hill by Erickson Senior Living as a Sous Chef! As a Sous Chef, you will play a vital role in our Signature Dining program, delivering chef-inspired culinary creations in our fine dining restaurants and nursing venues. With a focus on scratch cooking and a passion for great food, teamwork, and culinary excellence, you will contribute to creating exceptional dining experiences for our residents.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily kitchen production and food preparation to ensure timely service of resident meals.
  • Supervise all culinary staff, including scheduling, training, and maintaining kitchen sanitation.
  • Ensure accurate preparation and service of menu items, following recipes, food safety standards, and dietary restrictions.
  • Oversee the organization and cleanliness of dining areas, kitchen, and storage spaces.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of full-service culinary experience.
  • At least 6 months of supervisory and coaching experience.
  • High school diploma or GED preferred; completion of a certified culinary program or college is a plus.
  • Ability to lift and move objects up to 50 pounds and work in varied temperatures.
  • Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed.
