Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Radiology Technologist to join our team at Corewell Health. This full-time position offers increased pay rates and a $5,000 sign-on bonus. As a Radiology Technologist, you will play a crucial role in providing accurate and efficient diagnostic exams in various areas of general radiology. You will work under supervision, adhere to established procedures, and ensure patient safety and comfort throughout procedures.
Responsibilities
- Perform quality diagnostic exams following verification of patient information and physician orders.
- Acquire accurate patient history and document it in the medical record.
- Monitor patients during procedures to guarantee safety.
- Operate diagnostic imaging equipment proficiently and adhere to quality control procedures.
- Communicate effectively with patients, medical staff, and peers.
- Provide procedural information and education to patients/families.
- Maintain competency in all assigned areas and assist in training new hires/students.
Qualifications
- Graduate of a JRCERT Accredited Radiography program.
- Required certifications: CRT-Radiographer (R), CRT-Radiologic Technologist Registration, and CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA.
