Job Description
Corewell Health is seeking a dedicated Radiology Technologist to join our team on a full-time basis. As a Radiology Technologist, you will play a crucial role in providing accurate and efficient diagnostic exams across various areas of general radiology. You will demonstrate exceptional clinical skills, ensure patient safety, and uphold Corewell Health's philosophy of Patient and Family Centered Care.
Responsibilities
- Perform quality diagnostic exams following verification of patient identification and physician orders.
- Acquire accurate patient history and document in the medical record.
- Monitor patients during procedures to ensure safety.
- Utilize diagnostic imaging equipment proficiently and adhere to policies in case of malfunctions.
- Provide procedural information/education to patients and families.
- Contribute to departmental operations by assisting colleagues and complying with quality assurance.
- Maintain competency in various radiology areas.
Qualifications
- Graduate of JRCERT Accredited Radiography program.
- CRT-Radiographer (R) - ARRT American Registry of Radiologic Technologist upon hire required.
- CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association upon hire required.
