Radiology Technologist Full Time Days

General Summary
As a Radiology Technologist at Corewell Health, you will perform accurate and efficient diagnostic exams in all areas of general radiology. You will ensure the best possible images for interpretation, apply principles of radiation protection, and comply with regulations while upholding the philosophy of Patient and Family Centered Care.
Essential Duties
- Perform quality diagnostic exams following verification of patient identification and physician orders.
- Acquire accurate patient history and document in the medical record.
- Monitor patients during procedures to ensure safety.
- Utilize age-appropriate methods for procedures.
- Communicate effectively with various departments and stakeholders.
- Operate diagnostic imaging equipment proficiently and adhere to quality control policies.
- Provide procedural information to patients and families.
- Assist in training new hires and students.
- Maintain competency in various radiology procedures.
Qualifications
- Graduate of a JRCERT Accredited Radiography program.
- CRT-Radiographer (R) from ARRT upon hire required.
- CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) from AHA upon hire required.
