Job Description
We are currently seeking a talented Radiology Technologist to join our team at Corewell Health on a full-time basis during afternoons. As a Radiology Technologist, you will play a crucial role in performing accurate and efficient diagnostic exams in general radiology, while adhering to established policies and procedures to ensure patient safety and quality imaging.
Responsibilities
- Perform quality diagnostic exams following patient identification and physician orders.
- Acquire accurate patient history and document in medical records.
- Monitor patients during procedures for safety.
- Utilize appropriate methods for patient care based on physical ability and/or limitations.
- Effectively communicate with various stakeholders within and outside the department.
- Operate diagnostic imaging equipment proficiently and follow policies for any malfunctions or quality control issues.
- Contribute to maintaining a clean and well-organized exam room.
- Stay competent in all assigned areas including fluoroscopic, general diagnostic, and orthopedic procedures.
Qualifications
- Graduate of a JRCERT Accredited Radiography program.
- CRT-Radiographer (R) and CRT-Radiologic Technologist Registration required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
