General Summary
Join our team at Corewell Health as a Radiology Technologist. In this role, you will perform accurate and efficient diagnostic exams in all areas of general radiology, ensuring the best possible images for interpretation while prioritizing patient safety and comfort.
Essential Duties
- Perform quality diagnostic exams after verification of patient identification and physician order.
- Acquire accurate patient history and document in the medical record.
- Monitor patients during procedures to ensure safety.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Operate diagnostic imaging equipment proficiently.
- Provide procedural information and education to patients.
- Assist in training of students and new hires.
- Maintain competency in various radiology procedures.
Qualifications
- Graduate of JRCERT Accredited Radiography program required.
- CRT-Radiographer (R) - ARRT upon hire required.
- CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA upon hire required.
