Job Description: Nurse Practitioner - Hematology/Oncology
We are looking for a dedicated Nurse Practitioner to join our prestigious Hematology/Oncology team at LifeBridge Health. This full-time position, located in Westminster, MD at Carroll Hospital, offers a unique opportunity to be part of a fully accredited program specializing in the treatment of cancer, blood disorders, and malignancies.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with board-certified Medical Oncologists in the outpatient setting.
- Perform patient visits, ensure treatment readiness, and conduct inpatient consults as necessary.
- Provide comprehensive care, including physical assessments, treatment, and coordination of services.
- Facilitate chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and other therapies with expertise and compassion.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams and support oncology research initiatives.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in hematology/oncology practice.
- Nurse Practitioner with a master's degree and relevant certifications.
- Strong clinical knowledge in oncology and ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication skills and familiarity with team-based care models.
