Job Description
As a Medication Care Manager at Sunrise Senior Living, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care by administering medications and treatments in a safe and organized manner. Your role involves medication administration, resident care, and adherence to regulations and policies to ensure the well-being of our residents.
Responsibilities
- Administer medications and treatments following prescribed procedures.
- Document medication administration and resident information accurately.
- Maintain medication carts and treatment areas to ensure cleanliness and organization.
- Participate in resident care communications and contribute to individualized care plans.
- Promote risk management, safety, and infection control practices within the community.
- Attend training sessions and team meetings to enhance your skills and support team success.
Qualifications
- High School diploma/GED.
- Certifications in CPR and First Aid.
- Experience in working with seniors is preferred.
- Strong communication and decision-making skills.
- Ability to remain calm and effective in challenging situations.
