Job Title: LPN-LTC: Subacute Rehabilitation Unit
We are currently seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Subacute Rehabilitation Unit at Levindale Hospital in Baltimore, MD. This is a full-time position with a night shift schedule from 7:00pm-7:30am, including a weekend commitment.
Unit Summary
Hall 1 is a 40-45 bed long-term care unit specializing in subacute rehabilitation for residents with high complexity of needs. Our team members are compassionate, motivated, and dedicated to providing exceptional care to those in need.
Job Summary
As an LPN in our facility, you will work under the supervision of the Registered Nurse/Director of Nursing to develop and implement individualized nursing care plans, ensuring the residents' needs are met. You will play a key role in the daily operations of the unit and may assume leadership responsibilities as required.
Requirements
To qualify for this position, you must have formal knowledge equivalent to an Associate's degree, a License for Practical Nursing, and AHA CPR Certification. Basic computer skills and familiarity with medical equipment like IV Pumps, EKG Machines, and Specialty Bed Operation are also necessary.
