Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse to join our Subacute Rehabilitation Unit at Levindale Hospital in Baltimore, MD. In this full-time position with a weekend commitment on the night shift, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive nursing care to residents. Hall 1, our 40-45 bed unit, focuses on subacute rehabilitation for individuals with complex needs, offering a supportive environment and a variety of services.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans under the supervision of the Registered Nurse/Director of Nursing.
- Attend to daily unit operations and assume leadership responsibilities as needed.
- Utilize basic physical assessment skills to ensure residents' needs are met.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a License for Practical Nursing and AHA CPR Certification.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with medical equipment such as IV pumps and EKG machines.
- Compassionate, motivated, and dedicated to providing excellent care to residents in need.
