Unit Summary
Hall 1 at Levindale Hospital is a 40-45 bed subacute rehabilitation unit with high complexity of needs providing daily activities and various support services to residents. Compassion, motivation, and dedication are the core values required for staff members in this unit who are committed to helping others.
Job Summary
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) under the supervision of the Registered Nurse/Director of Nursing, utilizes nursing principles and assessment skills to develop and implement individualized care plans for residents, ensuring their needs are met. The role also includes leadership responsibilities as needed.
Requirements
- Associate's degree in nursing or equivalent
- Less than one year of experience
- Graduate of an accredited nursing school
- LPN license and AHA CPR Certification
- Basic computer skills and knowledge of medical equipment
