Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Subacute Rehabilitation Unit at Levindale Hospital in Baltimore, MD. As an LPN, you will work under the supervision of the Registered Nurse/Director of Nursing to provide individualized care to residents, ensuring their needs are met and maintaining unit operations.
Unit Summary
Hall 1 is a 40-45 bed long-term care unit specializing in subacute rehabilitation for residents with high complexity needs. Our team members are compassionate, motivated, and dedicated to providing excellent care and support to those in need.
Job Summary
The LPN will utilize nursing principles and basic assessment skills to implement nursing care plans. They will be responsible for shift operations, assume leadership roles when necessary, and contribute to the well-being of our residents.
Requirements
- Associate's degree in nursing or equivalent.
- Less than one year of experience required.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing school with a Practical Nursing license and AHA CPR Certification.
- Proficiency in basic computer skills and medical equipment operation.
