Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Levindale Hospital in Baltimore, MD. As an LPN in the Skilled Long Term Care/Rehab Unit, you will play a crucial role in providing top-quality medical and emotional care to our residents and patients. You will work under the supervision of the Registered Nurse/Director of Nursing to develop and implement individualized care plans, ensuring the residents' needs are met.
Responsibilities
- Utilize nursing principles and basic assessment skills to provide personalized care.
- Assume leadership responsibilities as needed and oversee daily operations on the unit.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure high-quality patient care.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a Practical Nursing license.
- AHA BLS CPR Certification.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with medical equipment.
Unit Summary
The Hall 1 unit at Levindale is a 40-45 bed long-term care unit that provides rehabilitation services to residents with complex needs. Staff members are expected to be compassionate and dedicated to assisting those in need.
