Job Description
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)/Skilled Long Term Care/ Rehab Unit
We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Skilled Long Term Care/ Rehab Unit at Levindale Hospital in Baltimore, MD. As an LPN, you will work under the supervision of the Registered Nurse/Director of Nursing to provide individualized nursing care, ensure resident needs are met, and assist in the daily operations of the unit. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.
Responsibilities
- Utilize nursing principles to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Assume leadership responsibilities as needed.
- Participate in daily unit operations.
- Engage with residents to provide daily activities and support.
Requirements
- Associate's degree in nursing or equivalent.
- Licensed Practical Nursing license and AHA BLS CPR Certification.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with medical equipment.
- Compassionate, motivated, and dedicated to helping others.
Unit Summary
Hall 1 is a 40-45 bed long-term care unit that focuses on sub-acute rehabilitation with high complexity needs. Staff members in Hall 1 must be compassionate, motivated, and dedicated to helping residents regain function and vitality.
