Job Description
Corewell Health is currently seeking a dedicated CT Technologist to join our team on a full-time basis working midnights. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic CT exams, ensuring the best possible images for interpretation, and upholding the principles of radiation protection and patient-centered care.
Responsibilities
- Verify patient identification and physician orders.
- Provide procedural information and education to patients.
- Perform CT exams and related patient care procedures.
- Operate CT imaging equipment proficiently.
- Monitor patient safety during procedures.
- Ensure cleanliness and maintenance of exam rooms and equipment.
- Utilize hospital computer systems for order verification and information sharing.
- Collaborate effectively with medical staff and support teams.
Requirements
- Graduate of JRCERT Accredited Radiography program.
- 1-3 years of clinical experience preferred.
- Certification by ARRT with additional CT certification required within 1 year of hire.
- Basic Life Support Certification for Healthcare Providers.
Working Conditions
Requires physical effort and exposure to ionizing radiation and hazardous materials. The role demands excellent coordination skills and adaptability to varying work environments.
