Job Description
Corewell Health is currently seeking a full-time CT Technologist to join our team on Midnights. As a CT Technologist, you will perform diagnostic CT exams using advanced imaging equipment, ensuring the highest quality images for interpretation while adhering to radiation protection principles. This role plays a vital part in our Patient and Family Centered Care philosophy.
Responsibilities
- Verify patient identification and physician orders
- Provide procedural information to patients
- Perform CT scans and related patient care procedures
- Operate CT imaging equipment and ensure quality control
- Monitor patient safety during procedures
- Maintain cleanliness and readiness of exam rooms
- Use hospital systems efficiently for order verification and data management
- Collaborate effectively with medical staff and support teams
Qualifications
- Graduate of JRCERT Accredited Radiography program
- 1-3 years of clinical experience preferred
- Certification by ARRT required; additional CT certification within 1 year of hire
- Basic Life Support Certification for Healthcare Providers
