Job Description
LifeBridge Health is seeking a dedicated Assistant Nurse Manager for the Emergency Department at Northwest Hospital. This full-time position offers a night shift schedule from 7:00pm to 3:30am.
Unit Summary
The Emergency Department at Northwest Hospital sees over 60,000 patients annually, providing care for major and minor illnesses, including cardiac, stroke, behavioral health, orthopedic injuries, and minor trauma. We are looking for a candidate with strong organizational and leadership skills to oversee patient assessments and implement clinical nursing interventions effectively.
Job Summary
The Assistant Nurse Manager will have 24-hour accountability for coordinating resources to ensure high-quality service that aligns with the hospital's mission, vision, and nursing department philosophy.
Requirements
- Formal working knowledge equivalent to an Associate's degree
- Bachelor's in Nursing, National Certification preferred
- 3-5 years of experience in a related field
- Maryland Registered Nurse License required
- American Heart Association CPR Certification, BLS Certification
