Veterinary Practice Supervisor

Job Description

Animal Dermatology Group (ADG) is the largest veterinary dermatology business in the U.S., providing specialty care to pets with acute and chronic skin conditions. We are currently looking for a dedicated Practice Supervisor to lead our team. This role involves overseeing administrative and leadership activities, as well as providing support in the day-to-day operations of the practice.

Responsibilities

Staff Management:

• Supervise technician and front desk staff.
• Provide scheduling, training, and development for technicians and receptionists.
• Handle all aspects of staff management, including hiring, evaluations, salary reviews, and disciplinary actions.
• Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing.

Patient Management:

• Collaborate to streamline patient processes.
• Assist in patient care activities.
• Maintain accurate medical and surgical records.
• Support clinic activities as needed.

Front Office Management:

• Maintain excellent customer service and client relations.
• Ensure prompt processing of clinic communications.
• Oversee appointment scheduling and resolution of client complaints.

Records Management:

• Ensure up-to-date record keeping.
• Establish and enforce record management systems.

Financial Management:

• Monitor costs and revenue opportunities.
• Review charges for accuracy.
• Partner in financial management initiatives.

Marketing & Facilities Management:

• Collaborate on marketing strategies.
• Maintain clinic cleanliness and upkeep.

Requirements

• Experience in veterinary practice management preferred.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Excellent communication and client service abilities.
