Job Description
CTMS, a leading Managed Service Provider (MSP), is looking for a talented IT Maintenance and Auditing Technician to join our Technical Department. As a Full-Time IT Maintenance and Auditing Technician, you will provide internal support for service contract clients. Candidates must reside in the greater Akron, Ohio area and possess strong IT infrastructure management and monitoring skills. Responsibilities
- Conduct real-time monitoring of IT infrastructure to identify issues, performance bottlenecks, and security threats.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of configurations, processes, and procedures.
- Generate regular reports on system and network health, performance, and security.
- Maintain an accurate inventory of IT assets and ensure compliance with licensing requirements.
- Respond to alerts, analyze root causes, and implement corrective actions or escalate issues.
- Provide top-notch customer service.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree, IT certifications, or 5+ years of strong customer service experience.
- Proven experience in IT infrastructure management and monitoring.
- Familiarity with tools like ConnectWise Automate, SolarWinds N-central, or similar platforms.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Understanding of IT security principles and best practices.
- Experience with scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell) is a plus.
- Effective communication skills for remote collaboration.
