We are looking for a skilled Risk Management Analyst to join our team at PacifiCorp in Portland, Oregon. As a Mid-Level or Senior Analyst, you will be responsible for providing independent and objective analysis to support risk oversight, senior management, and front office operations. Your role will involve preparing reports, monitoring risk limits, ensuring compliance with risk management policies, and contributing to the development and enhancement of risk management programs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare market price data and risk reports for energy supply management activities.
• Monitor power and natural gas positions against risk management limits.
• Assist in responding to data requests, reviewing transactions for compliance, and preparing reports on transaction activity.
• Oversee preparation of reports and responses (Senior level).
• Communicate with regulatory authorities on hedging and risk management.
• Lead projects to enhance energy trading systems and tools (Senior level).

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in risk management or related fields.
• Analytical skills with experience in data analysis and financial modeling.
• Proficiency in spreadsheet and presentation applications.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Additional requirements for Senior level positions.

• Advanced degree in a relevant field.
• Knowledge of energy management and risk activities.
• Experience with automation tools and energy trading software.
