Principal Product Owner

Job Description

We are seeking a talented Principal Product Owner to join Discover Financial Services. As a Product Owner, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that the outcome for a product meets the requirements of stakeholders and customers. You will collaborate with various teams to define product features, roadmap, and key performance indicators while maintaining the product backlog and ensuring compliance with standards. Responsibilities

• Deliver outcomes that meet stakeholder and customer requests.
• Manage and escalate risks and customer-impacting issues.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align on product vision, features, and roadmap.
• Establish Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Objects and Key Results (OKRs).
• Define functional and non-functional product requirements and create user story acceptance criteria.
• Build a culture of accountability and ownership within the product team.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field.
• 6+ years’ experience in Product, Business, Technical, or related roles.
• In lieu of a degree, 8+ years’ experience in relevant fields.

Compensation

The base pay for this position ranges between $110,500.00 to $154,900.00, with additional incentives available. Discover offers a competitive total compensation package based on various factors.
