NURSE MANAGER - INTENSIVE CARE (ICU)

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Nurse Manager to lead our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at Sinai Hospital, a prestigious trauma center and teaching hospital in Baltimore, MD. As the Nurse Manager, you will oversee the high-acuity medical, surgical, and neuro patients in our 29-bed ICU, ensuring that safe and age-appropriate care is provided during unit operation hours.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership, guidance, and support to the patient care team.
• Manage resources and staffing to meet patient care needs effectively.
• Develop and implement performance improvement plans to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
• Manage operational and capital budgets to align with patient needs and care standards.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and safety standards.
• Promote professional development and accountability for staff growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) from a CCNE accredited School of Nursing.
• 3-5 years of relevant experience in nursing with progressive supervisory responsibilities.
• Maryland RN License and BLS Certification required; National Certification preferred within one year.
