Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Emergency Psych Evaluator (Social Worker) to join the team at Sinai Hospital, part of LifeBridge Health. In this full-time position with a focus on Behavioral Health assessment and crisis intervention, you will play a crucial role in evaluating patients in the Emergency Department and coordinating their care across different settings. Your expertise will be instrumental in developing and recommending appropriate care plans, communicating with patients and their families, and collaborating with healthcare providers to ensure the best possible outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive Behavioral Health assessments for patients in the Emergency Department and other areas.
- Collaborate with ED attending providers and psychiatrists to develop care recommendations.
- Recommend and document psychiatric plans for patient disposition.
- Provide crisis intervention and support to patients in psychiatric emergencies.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure coordinated care.
Requirements
- Master's Degree in Social Work or Clinical Counseling.
- LCSW-C or LCPC licensure.
- 1-3 years of experience in Social Work or Counseling.
- Demonstrated ability to work in high-pressure environments with empathy and professionalism.
