Job Description
Liberty Healthcare and Rehabilitation Services is currently seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Bermuda Commons. As a crucial member of our healthcare staff, you will assist in the direction of nursing services, provide quality care to patients, and ensure a safe and comfortable environment for residents.
Responsibilities
- Assist in directing nursing services for the unit/hall under RN supervision.
- Delegate duties to nursing personnel and monitor work performance.
- Observe patients for symptoms, reactions, and changes in condition.
- Notify attending physician of emergencies and implement changes in orders.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support patient care.
Requirements
- High school graduate with LPN qualification from an accredited School of Nursing.
- Current, valid LPN license from the North Carolina Board of Nursing.
- Willingness to work as charge nurse and during emergencies.
- Ability to deliver quality nursing care, follow doctors' orders, and show genuine interest in geriatric nursing.
- CPR certification required annually.
- Participate in in-service training and staff meetings as necessary.
