Licensed Practical Nurse

Job Description

Join Liberty Healthcare and Rehabilitation Services as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) on a per diem basis for evenings (3pm - 11pm). In this role, you will assist in directing nursing services, observe patient conditions, notify physicians of emergencies, and perform other essential nursing duties under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.

Responsibilities

• Assist in directing nursing services for the unit/hall.
• Delegate duties and monitor work performance of nursing personnel.
• Observe and report patient symptoms and conditions.
• Notify physicians of emergencies and implement changes in orders.
• Perform additional assigned duties as required.

Requirements

• High school graduate.
• Graduated from an accredited School of Nursing as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
• Hold a current, valid license from the North Carolina Board of Nursing.
• Willingness to work as charge nurses and during emergencies.
• Ability to provide quality nursing care, follow doctors' orders, and have a genuine interest in geriatric nursing.
• CPR certification yearly and attend necessary training.
