Job Description
Liberty Healthcare and Rehabilitation Services is currently seeking a dedicated Part-Time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our compassionate team. As an LPN, you will assist in directing nursing services for the unit, monitoring patient symptoms, and working collaboratively under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. This rewarding position requires providing quality nursing care to patients and being ready to act during emergencies.
Responsibilities
- Assist in directing nursing services and monitoring patient conditions.
- Delegate duties to nursing personnel and ensure work performance is in line with standards.
- Observe patients for any adverse signs or reactions.
- Notify physicians of emergencies and implement necessary changes in patient care.
- Perform assigned duties effectively and efficiently.
Requirements
- High school graduate and Licensed Practical Nurse from an accredited School of Nursing.
- Current, valid license from the North Carolina Board of Nursing.
- Willingness to work as charge nurses and during emergencies.
- Ability to provide quality nursing care, follow doctor's orders, and show genuine interest in geriatric nursing.
- CPR certification and participation in in-service training.
