Job Description

We are looking for a Lead Problem Management Specialist to join Discover Financial Services. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the life-cycle of assigned Business Technology (BT) issues, identifying root causes, and implementing solutions to minimize future impacts. Collaborating with various teams, you will play a key role in maintaining service level agreements and proposing process improvements.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the life-cycle and coordination of actions to resolve assigned issues.
  • Ensure root cause analysis, implement fixes, controls, and preventive measures.
  • Monitor and maintain issue inventory in ServiceNow.
  • Propose process improvements and mentor Service Support Specialists when required.

Required Qualifications

  • Associate's degree in relevant field or 4+ years of related experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or 1+ years of people management experience.

Compensation: Base pay ranging from $75,500.00 to $127,900.00 with additional incentives.
