Job Description

We are looking for a Customer Service Representative to join our team at Hoosier Hills Credit Union. As a Customer Service Representative, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional service to our members and insureds at Hoosier Hills Insurance Agency. Your responsibilities will include advising, cross-selling, and assisting members with various insurance needs, payment transactions, inquiries, and claim filing. You will be part of a dynamic sales and service team, helping to build and maintain relationships with members.

Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding service to members in alignment with the Credit Union's Service Promises.
• Act in the best interest of members and the Credit Union at all times.
• Be responsive to member needs and provide solutions that exceed expectations.
• Serve as a trusted resource on insurance products and services for members.
• Resolve problems efficiently and maintain accurate records.
• Participate in team collaboration and contribute to a positive work environment.

Requirements

• Excellent communication skills (both oral and written).
• Knowledge of personal lines insurance products and banking services.
• Strong customer service and sales skills.
• Ability to analyze data and establish positive relationships.
• Professional appearance, demeanor, and interpersonal skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Property Casualty licensed in Indiana or ability to obtain within 120 days.
• 1-2 years of insurance agency experience preferred.
• Experience in cash handling and clerical work desirable.

Work Environment

• Normal physical mobility and dexterity required.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 20 pounds occasionally.
• Work in a typical administrative setting.
