Director of Sales

Job Description

We are looking for a passionate and driven Director of Sales to join our team at Home2 Suites by Hilton Tuscaloosa Downtown University Boulevard. As a key member of our hotel management team, you will be responsible for leading and managing the Sales department to ensure exceptional guest service, profitability, and sales goals achievement.

Responsibilities

• Stay updated on industry trends to leverage market opportunities.
• Execute sales activities to meet and exceed budgeted goals.
• Research, analyze, and capitalize on market opportunities.
• Play a vital role in hotel sales efforts, including client meetings and relationship building.
• Participate in Sales trips and industry meetings to drive business growth.
• Assist in annual budgeting and negotiate with clients for revenue maximization.
• Enhance the hotel's community image through active participation in local events.
• Take ownership of the assigned sales territory and respond to market needs effectively.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of Sales Leadership experience in a 100 room or larger hotel.
• Experience with Hilton branded sales and familiarity with systems like Delphi.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Proven track record of surpassing sales goals.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
