Job Description: Cybersecurity Engineer

Discover Financial Services is looking for a talented Identity and Access Management Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will design, develop, and operate tools and processes for managing access across the enterprise. Your work will be crucial to protect Discover's systems and enable our teams to deliver value to our customers.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze, design, and develop security solutions aligned with corporate goals.
• Act as a subject matter expert for security technologies.
• Guide project implementation and transition phases.
• Maintain relationships with security partners and vendors.
• Stay informed on security trends and compliance requirements.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in Information Security or related area.
• Internal applicants: technical proficiency rating of competent on the Dreyfus engineering scale.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Identity Management tools such as NetIQ or SailPoint.
• Proficiency in Java, XML, JSON, and scripting languages.
• Understanding of LDAP, Networking topics, and related technologies.
• External applicants will be required to perform a technical interview.
