CNC Mill Machinist- Swing Shift

Job Description

Shields Manufacturing is seeking a CNC Mill Machinist for the Swing Shift position. As part of our industry-leading team, you will work in our climate-controlled facility specializing in CNC machining and mechanical/optical/laser assembly. Responsibilities

• Read and interpret drawings.
• Operate machines and adjust controls for machining.
• Perform offset changes independently.
• Inspect parts using micrometers and calipers.
• Work on Vertical Mills, Haas, and Brother Machines.

Requirements

• Strong machine shop skills.
• Proficient with decimals and close tolerances.
• Capable of setting up and running jobs.
• Ability to modify programs as needed.
