Caregiver

Job Description

We are looking for compassionate individuals to join us as Caregivers at Sevita, a leading provider of home and community-based specialized health care services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. As a Caregiver, you will play a crucial role in supporting individuals to live well, grow, and engage in meaningful activities, fostering fulfilling relationships along the way.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with personal hygiene and daily activities.
• Support participants in achieving developmental goals such as budgeting, exercise, and nutrition.
• Cultivate relationships and create a nurturing environment for the individuals you serve.
• Take initiative to help participants integrate into the community and enjoy social activities.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination preferred.
• Skills in assisted living, home health, nursing, or related fields.
• Compassionate, patient, reliable, and responsible attitude.
• Valid Driver's license and access to a registered vehicle with insurance.
