POSITION SUMMARY
Ideal applicant will be based in Greater Boston/S. NH area. The primary responsibility for this position is to provide technical support, prepare and present product presentations alongside US Sales and customers. Coordinate and provide support for technical inquiries working with Japanese and US Engineering teams. This position will report to the Regional Sales Director.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• Serve as the primary advanced technical resource to the Sales team and Hirose customers.
• Communicate directly with customers for all application support questions, performance spec and data inquiries, and new product development requests.
• Help expand Sales team's technical presence within key customer accounts.
• Support Technology and Product demonstrations as requested by Sales.
• Build up relationships with cable and harness manufacturers.
• Help sales promotion activities (i.e. Exhibition participation, Sales package creation).

COMMUNICATION AND INTERFACE

• Excellent verbal and written communication with all departments and customers.
• Excellent presentation skills for both internal and customer meetings.
• Proactive, creative, and a sense of urgency in response to customer requests.

REQUIREMENTS

• BSEE or BSME is required or equivalent.
• (1) Year of experience preferred but not required.
• Excellent communication, presence, and presentation skills to work with internal teams, external partners, and customers.
• Positive attitude, proactive mentality, team player, responsive with a strong work ethic.
• Must be able to travel up to 30% of the time to multiple customer's R&D locations and may include international travel.
