Responsibilities

• Analyze, design, program, test, and deploy new user stories and features with high quality to production.
• Guide Associate Application Engineers to achieve team commitments and influence others by using informal leadership.
• Provide oversight on design decisions and contribute to technology communities at Discover.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Java on Spring Boot and React.
• Design and redesign of APIs, Microservices, applications, and systems.
• Deployment of applications to the cloud, testing, CI/CD, and Release Management.
• Strong documentation skills and familiarity with Agile Environment.
