Senior Development Officer

Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Development Officer to join Enterprise Community Partners, a national nonprofit dedicated to making a good home possible for families in need. As the Senior Development Officer, you will work closely with funders to cultivate, solicit, and steward corporate, foundation, and government partners. You will play a vital role in driving fundraising initiatives, supporting Enterprise’s mission, and contributing to organization-wide KPIs.

Responsibilities

• Immerse in Enterprise’s mission and programs to inform fundraising strategy.
• Collaborate with program staff to articulate programming and develop case statements for funders.
• Cultivate relationships with local, regional, and national funders.
• Organize meetings, events, and tours with prospects and funders.
• Write and submit proposals, concept papers, and program reports.
• Create customized funder proposals with design and communication support.
• Maintain up-to-date records in Salesforce.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of corporate and foundation fundraising experience.
• Proven track record in securing 6-figure gifts.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Salesforce.
• Willingness to travel up to 15% of the time.
• Knowledge of community development and affordable housing industry is a plus.

• Base salary: $93,000 to $103,000.
