Role Summary
The Lead Manufacturing Engineer will play a key role in supporting assembly for legacy and new programs. Responsibilities include providing production troubleshooting support, developing assembly work instructions, leading process improvement initiatives, and ensuring compliance with quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Provide production troubleshooting support and daily direction to manufacturing personnel.
- Develop and maintain assembly work instructions and design new tooling.
- Lead process improvement initiatives and support new technology development.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
Requirements
- BS in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- 5+ years of Manufacturing Engineering experience.
- Strong technical and hands-on experience with fabrication and assembly.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to interpret engineering drawings.
Desired Characteristics
- Catia V5 experience.
- Aerospace background.
- GD&T knowledge.
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methods.
