We are seeking a full-time Line Cook to join our culinary team at Bishop Gadsden on James Island. The ideal candidate will have advanced professional restaurant kitchen experience and be responsible for preparing and cooking hot and cold food items as directed by our Executive Chef. Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate proficiency in food preparation and handling techniques.
  • Prepare and assemble entrees, sandwiches, sauces, and vegetables with precision and efficiency.
  • Follow established safety policies and procedures in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Maintain professionalism and a courteous demeanor while working independently.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's Degree in Culinary Arts preferred.
  • 2 years of professional line cook experience in a restaurant setting.
  • Knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, and kitchen equipment.
  • Ability to perform duties with accuracy and speed.
  • Good communication skills and fluency in English.
  • Physical ability to stand, bend, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform kitchen tasks.
