Senior OnBase Developer

Job Description

Princeton University is looking for a talented Senior OnBase Developer to join its central IT team. The Senior OnBase Developer will be responsible for developing, testing, debugging, migrating, maintaining, documenting, and supporting solutions implemented on the OnBase by Hyland enterprise platform. This individual will collaborate with the OnBase team and work both independently and in a team environment. The position requires creating new solutions, providing first-level application support, assisting with administration tasks, and contributing to the validation of new software releases.

Responsibilities

• Enhance OnBase solutions using OnBase API, C#, and/or VBScript.
• Develop interfaces between OnBase and other applications using Hyland's Unity toolkit.
• Utilize native, licensed OnBase functionality including Workflow, WorkView, and Unity Forms.
• Prepare technical requirements and solution designs based on functional requirements.
• Maintain and refine existing content management solutions to meet future service requirements.
• Build reports using the Hyland Report Services module and SQL scripts against the OnBase Oracle database.

Requirements

• 5+ years of IT experience with 3+ years as a developer working with enterprise content management software.
• Experience in SDLC methodology and project implementation approaches.
• Familiarity with ECM document imaging, document management, workflow, electronic forms, and reporting modules.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience with OnBase by Hyland enterprise content management software.
• OnBase certifications and experience with administration tools.
• Proficiency in Service Now, SharePoint, and Microsoft Visio.
• Experience in a higher education setting.
