Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Manager

Job Description

We are hiring an Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Manager to join Johns Manville Corp, a leading manufacturer in the insulation and roofing industry. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining safety programs, ensuring compliance with regulations and company policies. Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Drive initiatives to identify and reduce facility risk exposures.
• Facilitate incident investigations and root cause analyses.
• Evaluate EHS structure and develop staff.
• Assist in implementing safety strategies for projects.
• Coordinate safety activities and report on progress.
• Establish and monitor environmental monitoring systems.
• Manage industrial process wastewaters and hazardous wastes.
• Communicate HSE metrics effectively.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and process changes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 7 years of EHS experience.
• Knowledge of safety and environmental regulations (OSHA, EPA, NFPA).
• Strong organizational and training skills.
• Leadership and influencing abilities.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work well with diverse teams.
• Flexibility for on-call duties and minimal travel.
