Job Description
We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Nurse Manager to join our team at Northwest Hospital's Emergency Department. This full-time position involves night shifts and offers up to a $20,000 sign-on bonus potential. As an Assistant Nurse Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating resources to ensure quality service to all customers, reflecting the hospital's mission and vision.
Unit Summary
The Emergency Department at Northwest Hospital sees over 60,000 patients annually and is equipped with 49 beds. Our staff provides care for major and minor illnesses, including cardiac, stroke, behavioral health, orthopedic injuries, and minor trauma. Strong organizational and leadership skills are essential to assess patient status and implement clinical nursing interventions effectively.
Requirements
- Formal working knowledge; equivalent to an Associate's degree.
- Bachelor's in Nursing, National Certification preferred.
- 3-5 years of experience in nursing or a related field.
- Maryland Registered Nurse License.
- American Heart Association CPR Certification, BLS Certification.
