Job Description

Bayview Building Materials is seeking a Yard Operations team member to assist customers with yard material at our store location in Vancouver, Washington. The role involves loading, unloading, and stocking materials in the lumber yard and warehouse while ensuring a safe work environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers, assess their needs, and provide assistance with loading materials safely and efficiently.
• Collaborate with the sales and yard teams to deliver prompt and coordinated customer service.
• Check and verify materials against invoices for accuracy.
• Operate forklifts and light trucks safely after receiving proper training and certification.
• Adhere to company core values and maintain a safety-first environment.

Requirements

• Ability to meet the physical demands of the job.
• Previous experience of 1-3 months preferred.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
